William Direct Dryers Announces New Hire of Global Sales Manager
Langley, BC, January 8, 2014 Williams Direct Dryers (WDD) has expanded its team with the addition of Stephen Obsniuk, Global Sales Manager.
As Global Sales Manager, Obsniuk will lead the development of a global sales network for Williams Direct Dryers. His role includes building & maintaining global distribution with national (North American) and international (Europe and Rest of World) distributors across WDD’s seven market segments (Commercial, Emergency Services (PPE), Military, Food Services, Sports, Residential and In Locker Drying Solutions). He is also appointed as the primary driver for the Military Drying Systems line of products; aiding in the improvement of products, and acting as a collaborator with agencies to identify the current needs and market demands.
Prior to joining WDD, Obsniuk’s background included an expertise in emergency services (firefighting, emergency medical services, hazardous materials, and various fields of rescue) with a defined specialty in CBRN Management (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear). Obsniuk served as an instructor at the Manitoba Emergency Services College, and acted as a resource to multiple Emergency Response Agencies within the province of Manitoba. Obsniuk left the field of emergency services to work for the Government of Canada as the CBRN Program Manager / CBRN Specialist and later as a Senior Policy Advisor. After leaving the federal government, he was involved with the Allen Vanguard Corporation, as the CBRN Product Line Manager responsible for the global sales of all CBRNE remediation and mitigation products. Lastly, prior to coming to WDD, he spent the last two years promoting the interests of Avon Protection Systems as the National Sales Manager for Canada.

The addition of Obsniuk to the WDD team is of particular importance as Williams Direct Dryers continues to see a robust growth of drying systems within its Military Division. Obsniuk’s immediate focus will include assessing areas of strength and opportunity for WDD’s drying systems and help guide the company’s vision for 2014.
